I have been involved with Lego for as long as I can remember. My first major set was a 6277 Imperial Trading Post which was a hand-me-down from my siblings. From then on I had amassed two full tubs of mixed Lego, which in 2015 I began to sort into their individual sets to sell off. That project had evolved into BlockWizardAU.
The philosophy of BlockWizardAU is to breathe new life into old toys. It is indeed a tragedy that hundreds of thousands of old, once-loved sets languish inside plastic tubs and baskets. The goal is two-pronged: it is to allow AFOLs greater access to more niche products, and to enable casual buyers to relive their childhoods. Personally this goal is what drives me to work, and I hope that it pays off for the community someday.
