Let's go on a holiday together!

We've all had dreams and goals of going on holidays and experiencing what the world has to offer. The Holiday Corner Street is another way of realizing that dream. Come and build to reminisce about your own holiday vacations around the world. This design takes inspiration from my trips in Europe. There is the cheese and crackers that make for great treats and souvenirs. Right next to it is the sweets shop that serve macarons, chocolates, and other pastries. Minifigs can enjoy eating them while seating outside, watching other tourists pass by as well as the artist painting the city. The City Tours offer day trip packages inside and outside the city for everyone to enjoy. It even has a map to show the key places around the city. On the second floor of the building is a hotel where minifigs can rest and freshen up before going on their next adventure. The streets are full of small vendors that make strolling around the city more fun. There's the waffle truck that serves freshly made waffles with syrup and fruits. The frites/fries cart also offers a nice snack with a spicy sauce. Last, but not the least is the "Extra Luggage" shop which is essential when you're on a trip. How many times have we needed an extra luggage for the gifts and souvenirs that we've bought in our holidays? There's so much more details, so much more to explore. Experience the holiday as you build this set!

One of the unique characteristics of this building is its curved facade. Using wedge plates to create the unusual footprint of the building is a bit of a challenge that builders would appreciate. The 3 facades of the building utilizes some techniques and parts that builders would not commonly consider as part of a building facade. With the limited space for each room, another technique for the products to be placed on the walls was used. With this technique, the design becomes efficient with parts usage as well as space allocation.
