Bob’s New OldTugboat (Tugger 4)

"The Final Brushstrokes of aNew Legend"

Fans of Bob and Jill know theirmaritime journey began on LEGO Ideas. Their first success, the OldTugboat (Tugger 3), reached 10,000 supporters but is currently"moored" due to a three-year exclusivity contract. But Boband Jill don't do "waiting." They’ve rolled up theirsleeves and returned for BDP Series 11 with their mostauthentic project yet: the ground-up restoration of Tugger 4.

The Shipyard Story

Tugger 4 is nearly ready to taste thesalt water again, but the work isn't done yet. The ship is currentlyperched on stacks of stones and wooden pallets, surrounded by theorganized chaos of a busy restoration site. With ladders leaningagainst the hull and scaffolding reaching every corner, you can seeexactly how much effort has gone into this revival.

Bob is busy at his small workbench, while Jill coordinates the final details. The hull is almostfinished, needing only a few final coats of Olive Green paintto bring back its classic, rugged look.

A TrueWork-in-Progress Site

The Successor: Created because Tugger 3 is unavailable, this model captures the grit and beauty of a ship in transition.
The Dry Dock: A unique building experience featuring a hull supported by stones and pallets, rather than a finished stand.
Shipyard Life: The scene is brought to life with authentic details: stacks of wooden planks, oil drums, a workbench, and even the essential on-site "Dixi" porta-potty.
The Final Touch: Look closely to find the areas where the fresh Olive Green paint is being applied, marking the final stage of this epic restoration.
