Step into a picturesque garden where morning sunlight dances across the pool beneath the steady stream of a flowing fountain. Early birdsong weaves through your thoughts like a golden thread, while the rich aroma of fresh-baked bread drifts on the breeze. Welcome to the Community Bakehouse and Springhouse; a historical building with a European Eclectic design scaled to complement your existing castle and modular buildings. Blessed with abundant assets and amenities, it has a cohort of 12 characters, and three families of birds to bring life to your community.

Springhouses enclose and protect a natural spring. Chilled water flows through stone troughs to cool vessels containing perishable foods like dairy products. The chilled atmosphere keep unpreserved meats fresh for longer. The master baker fishes out a milk container for bread making. The spring water flows into a potable water fountain, an animal trough, and flushes the abbey-style public latrine. The young attendant keeps the water flowing and grooms horses that come to drink.

The master baker checks for food spoilage and keeps the fires burning at the community bakehouse, where locals gather together to make their daily bread and other treats. Upstairs a private residence extends across two floors with living, dining and sleeping spaces. The Holmes family make the house a home, gathering around the dining table for meals with family and friends. Overnight a guest can sleep on the daybed while the family retires to the upper chamber.

With two display modes, this set can be easily integrated into large scale or narrow displays. The extra height spaces within this historic building are easily repurposed for different industrial or commercial uses, making it a flexible addition to even modern cities with enough vertical room for a stable, shop, restaurant, workshop or garage.
