Welcome to the Salty Cove!

This island of tranquility hides no fewer than fierce veteran pirates.

Sure, they look like they're having a good time, but beware: those who last tried to tease them ended up in the dungeon and were never seen again! The only ones who seem to get away with it are the island’s monkeys, who snatch anything they can, and the old captain’s parrot, always ready for a biscuit.

Features
- 7 veteran pirates, a pair of monkeys and a Parrot
- A hammock for a nap and a fireplace to cook, when crabs aren't trying to steal the fish
- A pivotable crane to hoist treasures and barrels from the dock
- A dungeon that hasn’t been used in a long time, but still holds a few remnants
- A stash of weapons behind the rotating dart target wall to defend the tranquility of the place
- A few loots from the past stashed away in the attic, while the old captain still studies maps and books for one last treasure
- 5 original stickers

Some background
This is my fourth iteration on this concept of old veteran pirates trying to enjoy their retreat in peace. For those who followed my previous entries, this was named Elder Pirates Retreat and ran for the 3 series of last year. With the new palette of parts and colours, I had to sweep a good bunch of parts to continue iterating on this project. The tone and style have evolved a bit, but not as much as I anticipated. I hope what people liked in the previous series still sticks around.

For this new version, I've continued to improve playability of the model, with more rooms to play with minifigs, and new turnable crane. The rockwork and grasswork haves been revised a bit too. The hammock signature of the set is still there. I'm pretty happy with the updated back of the island with the beds and candles. The model is still composed of the same modules that allows to assemble it progressively.
