Horse Stronghold

Deep in the borderlands, where old stone meets wild countryside, stands the Horse Stronghold — home of the Lord of Horses and his loyal knights. Built across multiple towers, courtyards, and hidden chambers, this fortress tells the story of a household under constant watch, ready to defend its stables and its people at a moment's notice.

Horse Stronghold draws its inspiration from two icons of LEGO Castle history: the timeless silhouette of the Lion Knights' Castle and the rugged, layered design of the Mountain Fortress. The result is a build that feels both classic and fresh — instantly recognizable to castle fans, yet packed with original details and functions.

A fortress full of life
Cut away the walls and you'll find a fortress that breathes: a dungeon with a barred cell, an armory lined with spears and shields, a guarded entrance hall, an alchemist's workshop, a working kitchen, and a stable sheltering the lord's horse. Lookout posts built into the main tower let the garrison watch over the land in every direction.

The garrison
9 minifigures populate the stronghold: the Lord of Horses himself, six knights (two of them belonging to a rival faction, hinting at conflicts yet to come), a cook, a stable hand an a white statue.

Building experience
With 3,981 pieces, Horse Stronghold is a substantial, satisfying build. Techniques layer naturally from the foundation up, and every section feels sturdy and deliberate — a model built to be displayed, played with, and taken apart room by room.
