Welcome to Windswept Mill!

Nestled in the blustery countryside lies a charming mill that tends to the land and acts as a midway point for weary travelers on their journeys. Four knights back from a long trip stop off at the mill to buy some fresh fruits and baked goods as they work their way back to their castle. The mill is designed with warm and inviting colors to resemble the resplendent landscape it enjoys.

My set includes two buildings: a functional windmill and a stable that can house two horses.

The Windmill

The windmill has three lift-off floors, a kitchen and bakery on the ground level, a living quarters and office on the second floor, and a bedroom on the third floor. Each level is fully furnished with decorations and details. The grounds of the windmill reflect the farming environment with different types of crops, such as pumpkins and carrots, as well as an apple tree. The windmill blade can be rotated by turning the knob on the back of the third floor.

The Stables

The stables are home to the horses that provide transportation for the farmers as well as helping around the land. This building contains two lift-off levels. On the ground level are the stalls as well as equipment to care for the horses. The second floor is a hayloft and storage area. The outside of the stables is filled with enriching details, such as a lush tree and a feeding trough for the horses.

In addition to the two main buildings, there are also the following builds to bring the mill to life:

A road sign that points travelers in the direction of a nearby castle and village
A market stall filled with baked goods fresh from the farm.
A horse-drawn wagon that can store a chest and other objects.

There are 8 minifigures included, 4 farmers and farmhands, as well as 4 knights on their journey back to the castle.

Thank you for checking out my entry, and I welcome any feedback or suggestions you might have!
