Part Quality

New Parts:

New parts are from new sealed sets, Pick-A-Brick purchases, or from trusted sources with reliable quality control. Parts are stored in zip-loc bags and plastic containers to keep out dust, with no exposure to direct sunlight. We handle new parts with rubber gloves when possible, particularly when parting out new sets. There may be scuffing or scratches as is normal with parts from sealed sets, but defective or considerably damaged parts will be screened out. Instruction booklets and fabric elements may have bends or folds as discovered when opening sealed set boxes and we flatten these items out.
 

Used Parts:

Used parts are never categorized as 'New', no matter how good they look. Parts tend to be in very good to near mint condition. No broken or chewed parts. Older parts usually show more wear. We try to label parts accurately: Exceptionally good condition for age, minor but notable scratches or color wear, notable printing defects or print wear (particularly with minifigs). Used parts are in a reasonably clean condition while parts discovered with dirt and grime are cleaned using a non-detergent soap before being added to the store. We know how important it is that children play with safe and clean parts, so an extra effort is made when processing Duplo parts. We cannot guarantee if a part will be absolutely clean, though we inspect and process all of our used parts rigorously before they make it into the store.

Used instruction manuals may have folds, bends, or small tears. Used instruction manuals in rough shape (missing pages, major binding issues, large tears, extreme water damage, glaring stains) usually do not pass quality control muster.

 

Sets:

Sets are new and sealed items unless declared otherwise. We have no control over what you will find in a sealed set box!

$10.00 purchase minimum. No lot limits!
 

Batch Ordering:

You are welcome to make an order with multiple batches, provided you notify us beforehand, notify us when you are finished, and take no more than 5 days to make your selections.
 

Operating Hours:

We're virtually always around to answer questions and process orders.
 

Invoicing & Notification:

Within 24 hours from the time you place an order, we will acknowledge your order and we may have your order ready and invoiced for payment provided no other issues arise. Sometimes invoices fail to arrive in your email inbox, so check your BrickLink account if you do not hear from us within 24 hours. Please respond to notices and invoice of payment to acknowledge payment for your order within 5 business days, else your order will be canceled. Successive failure to respond to notices may lead to negative feedback and the forfeit of future opportunities to purchase from this store.
 

Payment Confirmation:

After receiving and verifying payment, orders are made ready for shipping. Consider including your order number with your payment so there's no confusion. There shouldn't be, but you never know. We ship orders within 48 hours of payment confirmation, provided the delivery store is open. During the winter season, snow storms and bad road conditions may delay order shipment.
 
 

Payment Method:

Domestic (US) Customers: Cash (no COD), Cashiers Check, Money Order, USPS Money Order, and PayPal.com. For approved individuals, we also accept Silver Bullion and US Coin Silver.

International Customers: PayPal in USD only at this time.

All items are listed in USD, unless stated otherwise.

 

Silver Policy:

Silver spot value is recognized from the time we begin processing your order with a 10% appreciation on the spot value (effectively a 10% savings). Bullion is preferred, but coin silver is also acceptable (silver dimes, etc). Your order invoice shall include the value of the order in ounces of silver to be paid, and shall list the spot value and appreciation value for reference in USD. You should declare the composition of your payment prior to sending it. Payment should meet or exceed the value of the order as invoiced. Any payment above the value of the order will be reimbursed to you in the form of a store credit coupon. Customer is responsible for the composition and shipping of their payment, as with any other payment method.

Delivery Method:

Domestic (US) Shipping: We ship using UPS and USPS, and by default we will select the cheapest shipping method between the two in most cases. USPS is used for virtually all Bubble Mailer orders, and Delivery Confirmation is required. USPS orders large enough to be classified as parcels are shipped using Priority Mail versus Ground. Customers seeking expedited shipping or alternative shipping options may notify us and we will do our best to assist you.

International Shipping: We ship using USPS or UPS. We do not require certification on international orders due to the high costs involved. We are relatively new to international shipping, so we appreciate your patience as we familiarize ourselves with each country's shipping policies and expand our delivery options to additional countries. You're always welcome to ask if we can ship something to you if you're in a country not currently listed.

We ship to: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom.

 

Order Pickup:

If you live nearby and wish to pick up your order, or simply want to visit our store and make an 'in store' direct purchase, you're welcome to do so. Be sure to announce your coming at least 3 days in advance so we know to expect you and can provide detailed directions. Any time between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM is fine. We only accept cash or silver when paying for orders in person otherwise you can pay through any of our other methods, wait for us to clear it, and then you're welcome to pick up your order.
 

Packaging:

We use clean, new corrugated boxes and bubble mailers when possible, selecting packaging appropriate to the size and composition of your order to keep shipping economic and safe. All but the largest parts are placed in zip-loc plastic bags. New parts are kept separate from used parts, allowing you to easily verify your order. Used parts are more likely to be grouped together in the same bags. Small bags may be stored inside larger bags. Bubble-wrap padding is commonly used. Parts prone to damage or breaking, including but not limited to baseplates, large items, and certain plant parts will be given special consideration. Larger orders may include air pillows to pad contents and reduce jostling.
 

Open Shipping & Handling Policy:

We maintain an open policy on fees, separating packaging supply costs from store items, which allows us to provide competitive value for you as a customer, particularly as the size of an order increases. We do not charge for time and effort to assemble an order, only materials. The supply fee helps us maintain a large stock of Bubble Mailer Envelopes in assorted sizes since the vast majority of orders fall within this size range. We are slowly but surely increasing the supply of larger Cardboard Boxes to complement the purchase of sets. The Special Feedback Discount is a rewards program discounting shipping costs based on your feedback rating number.
