Sustainability
Thank you for supporting our commitment to ship in sustainable packaging.
Part of your order may arrive in reused packaging materials
that are not recyclable. Using these materials keeps your
shipping costs down and helps prevent waste from entering landfills.
This will never impact the quality of our items. New and used
parts will always be packed separately.
Car-Free Travel
All travel is completed via bicycle or electric
scooter! This includes trips to the local post office
( 1.5 miles away!) and shopping for
new inventory pieces and sets.
How to Recycle or Reuse Your Packaging
If you're wondering how to responsibly recycle this packaging,
look no further!
The guidance below only applies to packages branded with
"EcoEnclose" at the bottom. Reused packaging
materials may not be recyclable but can be reused again!
Paper Padded Mailers

100% recycled content,
20% post-consumer waste & naturally
biodegradable. Upcycled newspaper is matted into a layer of
cushioning, then sandwiched between two layers of recycled Kraft paper.
Open with pull tab on back of mailer. Throw this plastic tab away.
Recycle: Accepted in curbside recycling. Shipping labels do not need to be
removed. Mailers are naturally biodegradable and technically
compostable, but please recycle them!
Bubble Mailers

50% recycled content,
10% post-consumer waste. Reusable.
Recycle: Thin Film Recycling. Recycled wherever
grocery bags are accepted.
Unlike most poly bubble mailers that have no
recycled content, are not recyclable, and are made with virgin
material, these ones are 100% recyclable have a dual peel and seal
strip ready to be used a second time.
Shipping Boxes

100% recycled content,
95% post-consumer waste & naturally biodegradable.
Recycle: Accepted in curbside recycling. Unfold and
flatten box first. Most programs do not require labels or
tape to be removed (these are skimmed off in repulping). Check
guidance from your recycler first.
Paper Mailers

100% recycled content & naturally biodegradable.
Recycle: Accepted in curbside
recycling. Shipping labels and tape do not need to be removed.
Paper Packaging Tape
Recycle: Paper-based tape does not have to be
removed from your packaging to be recycled but can not be
recycled on its own. Please landfill all loose tape.
Corrugated Bubble, Packaging Paper, and Notecards
Recycle: Accepted in curbside recycling.
Shipping Labels

100% post-consumer waste paper-based shipping
labels do not need to be removed before recycling the package (with
most recyclers).
Resealable Plastic Bags
Recycle: Thin Film Recycling. Recycled wherever
grocery bags are accepted.
Currently, most of our items are sorted into resealable plastic
bags. These bags have only ever been used to store clean Lego pieces
and can be reused hundreds of times.
- One plastic-free alternative we are hoping to implement soon
though would be Glassine Paper Bags (translucent and curbside
recyclable!).
- 100% recycled Poly Bags are another option.
These bags do not have a resealable zipper but are made of 100%
recycled content and are thin film recyclable (Recycled wherever
grocery bags are accepted or ship them back to be responsibly
recycled).
