Shipping

MINIMUM shipping charge is $4.70 for Domestic up to 4 ounces and includes USPS tracking. Shipping for orders up to 3 Pounds is automatically calculated within the Bricklink system. 

All orders will be charged actual postage plus approximately $1.50 to cover packaging/shipping materials (baggies, bubble wrap, padded mailers, boxes, tape, labels, ink & paper, etc.).

Insurance, express shipping, guaranteed delivery services, etc. are available upon request and at customer’s expense.

Orders will be shipped by the most economical method, including Priority Mail or First Class (see estimate chart), or UPS Ground.  Priority Shipping is based on weight and we always take the highest estimate when calculating shipping manually.  If we can get your order packed into a Flat Rate box, we will do so and refund the over-payment amount.

USPS Tracking is included for all domestic orders at no charge (if shipped via USPS). Insurance and Priority Mail are available by request, and at the buyer’s expense.

*** We cannot guarantee delivery dates/times. If you need your order quickly or by a certain day, please e-mail us BEFORE placing your order. We will then let you know if we are able to invoice and ship in time. We cannot guarantee the delivery times once we hand it over to the Post Office unless an expedited service is paid for (overnight, 2nd day, etc.). We will provide the delivery confirmation number or tracking number. ***

Part Quality

Used Parts: We handle thousands of used LEGO® parts. Pieces will very between what we could call “Like New” and “Acceptable” conditions, but should never be damaged, broken, or severely worn/faded.  We work diligently to sell only high quality used LEGO® parts, however, there may be an occasion where part(s) may slip through our QA. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our parts just let us know and we will gladly offer replacements, credit or a refund.

New Parts: All new parts come directly from sealed sets or PAB. Since sets come with various pieces bagged together and the bags are loose in the box, there may be minor scratches/scuffing from pieces rubbing together.

Missing Parts: We do our best to make sure our inventory is accurate, but sometimes we may not be able to find a part that you ordered. When this happens, we may contact you via email to ask if you still want the order processed with a refund for the missing part, or if you want to cancel the order. We do this because we know that sometimes, that one piece makes a difference. 
 

Colors

Items are listed using Bricklink's color palette. Bricklink's colors are not always named the same as on LEGO.com. For example the color Metallic Silver is Bricklink's name for LEGO's Silver Ink color and the color Flat Silver is Bricklink's name for LEGO's Silver Metallic color. A reference table for Bricklink and LEGO colors can be found by clicking the 'Colors' link.

Sets

We take extra care processing orders for new sets. Because we want to make sure that we offer you the best shipping rate for these large packages, we calculate the cost manually and will send you an invoice. We do our best to wrap sets in bubble wrap with air pillow padding and sturdy boxes, but sometimes stuff happens. For this reason, we require shipping insurance in sets over $100. Your invoice will include the cost of insurance. 

Order Processing Times

Because we are also fans of LEGO, we want to get your parts and set orders to you as quickly as possible. Monday through Friday, we invoice and process orders in the evening after work. Packages are taken to the Post Office first thing in the morning.

Orders placed after 8 pm EST may not be processed/pulled until the following business day.

Saturday and Sunday, we invoice and process orders throughout the day. Packages are taken to the Post Office on Monday morning.

Messages are answered every day. We attempt to answer all messages within 24 hours. Sometimes it may take longer – especially if we are researching your request, if that is the case we will generally let you know that the request is taking longer so you know we are working on it.

Please check your junk mail folder or send a reminder or alert before assuming that we are ignoring you; many times we have found that a customer’s email program had filtered out our email into a junk mail folder.

Order Status

After placing your order you can track progress by checking the status. They are as follows:

  • PROCESSING: Orders in “Processing” status are orders that have had shipping calculated, have been invoiced and are waiting for payment. An order is generally in “Processing” status the business day after it is submitted – sometimes it is 2 days. Invoices are sent when the order is set to “Processing” status. The invoice will have a grand total that includes shipping charges. The invoice may also include a credit for any parts not in stock and insurance or special processing fees if requested. Please check the seller comments section.
  • PAID: Once you have received your invoice with the shipping charge included, the next step is for you to pay. Once payment is received the order status is changed to “Paid.” Your order should be shipped the next business day.
  • PACKED: Orders in the “Packed” status typically mean that your order is sealed and ready for the daily mail/package drop off but it hasn't been shipped yet. It will be changed to “Shipped” once the package has actually been handed off to the shipper.
  • SHIPPED: This status means that your package has been picked up by the shipping company or postal service.
  • COMPLETED: This is an important status – this status is set by YOU! By setting the status to “Complete” you are confirming that you have received the package. This is also a good time to leave feedback on your order. If there is and issue with your order, please contact us before completing and/or leaving feedback and allow us the opportunity to rectify any problems.
