Here at Salander Bricks, we pride ourselves on quality and efficiency.

What happens BEFORE you place your order?

Each piece is looked at and assessed. Jess, who owns and runs the store, is a little bit ... focused when it comes to bricks she would or wouldn't use. And if she wouldn't use it, she doesn't sell it!

How do you clean them?

For bulk lots, we pull apart EVERYTHING, remove all non-LEGO, and wash and sanitize the pieces. Then, according to the rules of our owner, we get rid of anything we wouldn't use ourselves (broken, dented, etc.). We are 99.999999% confident in this process, but if something gets through, please message us ASAP and we'll make it right!

Sets are broken down and inventoried and rebagged as best as possible. Pieces are dusted and cleaned (as appropriate). For larger sets (especially those beautiful modulars!), we take a picture of every single piece before we send it. Ask if you want to see them!

What DON'T we break down?

Sometimes, we won't pull apart pieces that we know will be more brittle. Think old sand sand green hinges from Green Grocer, popping out windows from sills, or everyone's favorite, the red-brown brittle bricks. It's not worth the risk for you to NOT have original parts! BUT if anything is broken, we will replace it before shipping to you.

Please note!

While we do dust and clean sets to the best of our ability, sometimes it's a judgment call on if cleaning further is worth the risk to both time depletion and the piece itself.
