In my photos, all 2x4 bricks have cross support and so they are 3001 (undetermined
entry), except in color white: in one sealed bag, it is 3001old and in the other
of the second opy: 3001.
But this set was released in 1982 and the bricks with cross support was first
produced in 1984. Have never seen any set from 1983 or earlier with 3001old
(there are still about 30 sets with from 1980-83 coming with 3001)
