We work hard to be organized in our shop. I'm always pretty frustrated when
folks order items and we cannot find them. The other day it was a 6075 Wolfpack
Tower instructions. It's created a whole mess with the buyer who ordered
it in December. The problem is, that we got the instructions and sold them in
October. It's a pretty cool and notable item, thus I remember it, and I know
for certain we've only ever had/listed one.

Is there something I'm doing wrong with orders such that purchased items
are going back to our inventory? Anyone else have this as an issue or know what
I'm doing wrong here. I'm currently questioning the enterprise entirely.

You could have type 2 instead of 1. Or added twice, simply using the History
back on the form. Or it has been cancelled and came back. Memory is NOT reliable
when you manage 100/1000/10000 lots.

Use BrickStore, free open source, with local SAVED files and all tracks you need
and that can confirm what you've done, not memory.

1) download your whole inventory and save it, with date time, every week at least!
It's a couple keys to strike.

2) upload or update (change) your inventory from a list you made in BrickStore,
and save the file of what you did when you did.

This way you are SURE, and you manage everything, and can confirm everything
of what you have done. If not, no memory, human typos and site bugs makes you
cannot be sure of anything, and no trace of what you've done.

How often does this happen? Did you just 2 by mistake? If you have backups you
can go back and check.
