I'm new to bricklink, my older brother was previously an active user but
had disabled his store at some point. Unfortunately, he passed away unexpectedly
a couple months ago (Nov. 2, 2025). He still has an EXTENSIVE organized inventory
at his house and my parents and I are trying to figure out what to do with it.

Has anyone ever reached out to bricklink admins for help with recovering an account
of a deceased loved one?

If you have experience with this, I would appreciate any advice. I helped him
pack up orders a few times but otherwise, I'm flying blind.

So sorry to hear. Dealing with a similar thing for my wife's account. At
least in her case, we'd always kept password journals for our online accounts,
so I could login and load her inventory to a file for later. If your brother
was good with his store inventory, he'd have loaded his store inventory as
a backup file to his computer. You may want to check for it. If he used the program
most of us use (brickstock or brickstore), the file would likely have a .BSX
extension on the file. Best of luck moving forward with this. I hope BrickLink
admins can be of great help to you.

Sad to read this story.
I imagine this must have been Joe, who passed away?

I've forwarded this message to the BL-admin-staff with a request to reach
out to you and your family directly. And give you proper advice and support in
this situation.

Like kzinti already replied, there's a lot you CAN do, but it will take some
time to get around here. And I am not sure that is your aim with your request.
I think the admin/staff can help you out best here.

Take care!
