Does anyone have any suggestions to keep shipping charges down in the UK? I have
recently sold a couple of higher value, larger sets which won't be fully
covered by the compensation if I choose my usual Royal Mail 48 Tracked Service.
However, the cheapest alternative I can find that will fully insure the contents
is ParcelForce Express 48 but that's a lot more and I think is putting people
off. Whose liability is it if the parcel is lost or damaged and then not covered
by the insurance?

If an item is not delivered it is your responsibility to resolve, either by refund
or replacement.
Insurance only works for you the seller to claim against. Also worth noting the
RM dont always pay out the full amount regardless of insurance.

There are options with Evri and Yodel which have "better" compensation
rates but it truth I have more problems with them than RM.
