Long story short, I changed my nickname on LEGO.com to rankster long before the
merge.
Then controversial info was published stating businesses must create a second
account to be able to order from LEGO.com, therefore I created a second account,
changed the main's nickname to Rankster Bricks from rankster.
Then I realised that I would want to keep the name of rankster here on BL so
I wanted to change back the main account's nickname to it but it doesn't
let me while 30 days passed since the change. The field is grayed out while it
says "You can change it again in 0 days".
I'm in touch with LEGO CS, they recommended to delete the cookies and try
another browser but neither worked.
So here I am, unable to change my nickname on my main LEGO account which would
be cardinal to fix before the merge at the end of the year.
Anyone had the same issue? How did you manage to fix it?
Well, I've been emailing LEGO CS for more than a month now and they are still
unable to fix this issue.
They now manually generated a random nickname for me on LEGO.com but I still
can't change it on my end, the field is grayed out while it says 'You
can change it again in 0 days'. Wonderful, being 'Mr.GlowingBytar102'
is worse than staying 'Rankster Bricks' instead of 'rankster'.
My only concern with this is I'll probably lose my nickname here on BL -
or even my whole account? - if it's not fixed until the end of the year.
