I have long disagreed with the dark red-ish rust #27 being a color, since it's
always been soft plastik, like hoses and such. And they tend to get a differetn
hue, when made.
And the true dark orange-ish color #216
Did LEGO delete the color, because the thought the same?

Yes, however you seem to miss-understand me. The color is still there, but there
used to be a lot of red-hue bricks in it.

Yes, however you seem to miss-understand me. The color is still there, but there

This was fixed a few months ago. Rust now contains both 13 Red Orange and 216
Rust.
