I’m on a trip in Slovenia and was accessing the site on my phone using mobil

And on local wifi it gives me white screen, page not loading. Post-merge apocalypse…

I laughed pretty hard when I saw this. Bricklink has joined dystopia, I guess.
Hope you get it fixed and it's just a short term error!

I would guess your mobile’s IP is in a list of IPs matched to a sanctionned nation,
wrongly or not.
BL/LEGO (and the services they use) are just obeying laws with the tools they
have 🤷‍♂️

Maybe OP is hosted by chinese Slovenian friends who use a VPN to watch Netflix
in Cantonese?

AFAIK, China isn’t sanctionned (though some Chinese companies are), but there
are countries closer to Slovenia that are….

I don’t think any Slovenian internet providers would be banned and it’s not constant
since I can post as shown. Must have been false alarm but it’s still concerning.
It only happened when I switched from local wifi (pages didn’t load with that
at all) to mobile data but once I closed and reopened the page it opened without
the error. Seems to be a very rare error but it’s raising questions.

Not the whole ISP but:
— a range of IP adresses can be too large on the black list,
— IP addresses can be bought / exchanged and the black list can be wrong / obsolete.

With this info, it doesn’t seem to be the mobile IP that was blocked but the
WiFi one.
As it seems you kept the browser open while changing IP, it could load parts
of the page but the rest was either already blocked (in its cache) or was blocked
because of what it had in its cache, and closing the browser cleaned the cache.

Not really.  Black lists are wrong / too large all the time.

Indeed - and if it happens again, you should record your IP address (using whatismyipaddress
dot com or similar) and send it to the Help Desk.

How many times did you need to enter your birth year and log in before seeing
that error message?

Switch your vpn to the US and it should work.
