The current description reads: "USA Fao Schwarz Exclusive."
The 326 Suburban set was not FAO exclusive as it never appeared in FAO catalogs.
It sold in a plain box from Montgomery Ward 1968-71(and there, it was never referred
to as the Suburban Set. See the attached Wards catalog, lower right corner).
The colorful box never sold at Wards.
The colorful box version and the Suburban Set name came from an in-store 1969
promotion with Jordan Marsh and Pogues, in which the book “The Wonderful Birthday”
was bundled with the 326 set: The Boston Globe, November 16th, 1969 (Page 29).
