I remember reading somewhere that you will no longer be able to collect Lego
Insider Points with the account you have connected to Bricklink. Does anyone
know if this is true?

It is currently 2 x points on Lego.com and i want to purchase something that
i have wanted for myself.

However, i don't want to do this if those points will be just taken away.

Is it best if i just create a new account? Can you start collecting points on
Lego straight away when you join up with a new account?

It depends if you are a registered business or not. Businesses cannot sign up
for Insiders.

It's true but it's on the honor system.

Yes, best to create a new account with a different email address; and yes, I
believe you become a member of Insiders immediately.
