agreed, it would be a poor move on the sellers part, however if its a hobby seller
then the concept of loosing anything on an order may drive them crazy to find
some work around to not loose anything.

I don't think I've ever heard someone here call the continent Europa.
If this friend is coming to the UK, they would probably say to the UK not "Europa".
And if they are going somewhere to mainland Europe, then the seller will have
to send it presumably to a hotel and hope they get the timing right and also
hope it doesn't get caught at customs as they haven't paid VAT.

You have 6 months to file a claim and get your money back. All sellers know that
too. If you think this is fishy, because this seller is buying a few weeks, then
what would he do after a few weeks? What part of this offer of him to fulfill
the order makes it fishy?!
If they can again ship to usa, he can charge you tariffs and then he can ship
directly from his country.
I dont know how he can go through customs at airport having some lego in the
luggage but i guess they dont mind with a few lego bits in the luggage. That
is also doable.
You can accept this offer and wait like a few more weeks for his friend to ship
this from usa to you or weite to seller that you are willing to pay tariffs so
that he can ship from his country and avoid extra hassle.
It is also very recommended to check and study seller’s feedback. Also is this
a small order or large sxpensive order like over $200-300ish? I am pretty
sure he has a small to medium sized store Otherwise he would not have had time
to take extra time and energy to want to fullfill this order. For you, this can
rather be a plus

probably request to cancel the order.
Thank you all for the replies, being a small seller myself, I am not trying to
do anyone wrong and/or lose money on a sale. I think the option truly is to just
cancel the order and reorder elsewhere as I am not making any money with a bin
full of unfinished sets and figs sitting in the corner waiting on whenever this
seller can get my package to a friend to jump the pond and then ship to me. Happy
