Anyone had an issue with customers account details getting mixed up on orders

I Just had a message from BL user asking why I sent them something.
The Order was placed in my store on a different account to theirs but with their
name and address.
They haven't ordered anything from me. But I shipped to the name and address
on the order.
So it looks like Bricklink have merged their account addresses incorrectly somehow
We are both totally confused. Where do I go from here ?

Could be a seller who was missing a part and used your store to send it to them.

about this and also cannot understand why his details are on someone else's

If it's the real problem, then you should (depend the amount if it's
not so much):
* tell who received they can keep it for free,
* tell the one who order what happened (link to your forum post?),
* if you don't have the items anymore tell them, refund and cancel,
* ask to BrickLink a REFUND of the total amount, or at least a credit in fees.

Then it's completely different, it's not a BrickLink bug but more a family
problem.
Someone's lying here, or is unaware of what happens.
I'm not 100% sure (not knowing all the details), but I would probably let
it be, as is.
Especially if it's not A LOT of money.

Does the PayPal account also belong to the user who claimed not to have bought
anything (I think with IC, the address on the order in PayPal will simply be
that used on BL)?
Because if it does, it's not an account merge issue but a "someone is
using my BrickLink and PayPal accounts without my knowledge" issue.
