since the so called "upgrade" of the Bricklink system I have tried not
to irritate myself too much of all the unneccesary changes and unlogical alterations
made here.
But now since the merge I am doubting the people behind the new layout, are they
even qualified to make those changes at all? Are they users of Bricklink or are
they just programmers without any love for Bricklink?
One thing I am really missing...... in the computer version of Bricklink I can
manage to find everything, although some stuff is annoyingly hidden....
But on my mobile, which I use a lot for order picking and searching the catalogue
it is a real drag to find the color guide.
Why are those 2 systems so different? Why isn't there cohension between those
2?
The buttons should be in the same place, whatever system you use, are different
programmers working on them, and don't they check weither the computer and
phone are looking the same?
Just put the color guide back at marketplace, there is room enough for an extra
button!

Just my 2 cents

It is indeed hard to find due to the adaptive layout, but the link is in the
same place: Marketplace Resources Color Guide
which brings you to the https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp page.
The link at Marketplace Catalog Browse also has the link to the Color Guide
at the same position, but because that is at the far right and hence off screen,
it is easy to miss on a mobile screen.
"Looking the same on both media" would not be good, but "having the
same logic flow to it" would be and should be the norm.
I think the core problem is that the (current, young?) generation of developers
does not fully understand the classic backbone of this site, making every attempt
at change a challenge. Add that to the need to appeal to modern day web users
while at the same time keeping the classic power users happy and you'll see
the challenge.
