I've got a template for an excel sheet so that I can upload parts onto Brickstore
for a mass upload on Bricklink. Basically, my son (who lives miles away) has
his inventory there and sends me an Excel so that I can convert to XML and do
the uploads for him. He loves the Lego and hates the admin lol.
I've used this template loads of times, I just delete the data I've previously
added but keep the headers (Schema) and add my new parts/minifigs etc. Save as
XML Data and away I go.
The following happened last week and its happening again now:
First I get "this upload contains 300 (or whatever) unknown parts" then
the page generates
with the correct ID number, condition, colour, quantity & Remarks column but
each line comes up with the red diagonal lines - until I double click the part
number. Then it loads correctly.
Database is up to date.
I know the format of the Excel sheet is correct, as I said, I've used it
before (day before yesterday)but its doing this strange thing again. Last time
I thought it was maybe a glitch and just double clicked the ID numbers but I
really don't fancy doing that again!
I've added a screenshot and double clicked the first two lines to show an
example..
I am a numpty, the first column, ITEMTYPE has to be a capital letter!
I've added this message on as a solution in case anyone gets the same query.
Thanks
Sam
