The inventory lists part 30833 Red Vehicle, Base 6 x 21 x 3

I am holding in my hands what looks exactly like this part, yet it is clearly
molded with 30834. However 30834 is not a valid part number. Am I missing something?
Or was there an error in the inventory?

Don’t have one to check but it looks like there might be an error.

Could you upload more photos of the part? It looks like an assembly, i.e. made
out of multiple smaller parts (which would have their own individual numbers).

This isn't helpful of me but I'm LOLing at the idea that this is a "minifigure"

Minifig No: crs004 Name: Mack - Semi Tractor Trailer
*
crs004 (Inv) Mack - Semi Tractor Trailer
Minifigures: Cars: Cars 3

Yes, it's 2 parts as an assembly, not removable.
Here are 2 more pictures

If you look carefully, 30833 appears to be 2 elements that are held together
by some sort of clip. The bottom part that you're looking at has element
number 30834, and the top part is likely 30833, only that it's obscured by
the 30834 part. In such occasions, I'm pretty sure the Bricklink catalog
policy is to use the lowest number as the start, or maybe it's the LEGO
database that lists it as part 30833. Either way, it seems like it might be correct,
but 30834 should definitely lead to part 30833 if that's the case (added
as an alternate part number) and a note should be added to the catalog page that
the part has several element numbers
