As you know, there have been a lot of issues with processing PayPal orders recently.
Some orders get stuck in a ‘Paid-Pending’ status until the payment is eventually
voided by PayPal. We understand the impact this has on our members and the BrickLink®
community, and we’re working hard on fixing the issue and bringing PayPal back
online for you.
Here are a few ways you can keep things moving in the meantime:
For sellers, if you have an order affected by this issue, you can wait
for the transaction to be voided on the PayPal website or void it yourself to
speed up the process. Please wait for the status on BrickLink to change to ‘Ready’.
For buyers, we suggest using the PayPal payment method as before. However,
if you experience any issues with an order, please notify the seller and try
checking out again at a different time.
We know this isn’t ideal, and we really appreciate your support and understanding.

The BrickLink Team
Thank you for this reply - in my view the information contained in this post
represents a positive first step to (a) correcting incomplete or misleading information
previously posted by Bricklink management/staff; and (b) giving users direct
links to helpful information on payment methods and so on.
I would request one more pice of information: I think it is extremely likely
that Bricklink now is aware of what the problem is, at least in its broad outlines.
It would be extremely helpful if you just told the community. For example, if
a recent PayPal update has caused problems with BL-PayPal integration; or if
a recent BL back-end update has caused these issues. Or if there is something
in common about all the seller/store accounts that are experiencing this issue
- whatever it is, just tell us. No one expects you to have all the answers right
now and no one expects full details on internal technical issues. But without
some idea of what's going on, it seems like this problem suddenly began with
no reason - surely there is a reason, yes?
