similar to rebrickable where you can search a part, go to it's info page
and theres a link to it's Ldraw page, part descriptions here on bricklink
should include them for those that want to find a part and add it to studio through
the part designer

To be precise, it’s not a link to its LDraw page, it’s a link to the results
of the search page for the LDraw ID.

the part designer

When the catalogue knows the LDraw model that matches a part, there’s a 3D view
of the model, with info on the LDraw file (notably its ID).

Granted, there’s no link to the file itself.

But then, a link shouldn’t neither be necessary or useful because if BL knows
if there’s an LDraw 3D model and which ID it has, then it would be better to
directly add it to Studio rather than link it in the catalogue for several people
to do the same work….

But that won’t happen because the catalogue and Studio’s database aren’t linked,
neither way:
— some parts are in Studio but are not as 3D view in the catalogue,
— Studio is not automatically aware of changes in the catalogue (ID or name changes,
merges…); it takes a few reports to have things corrected, and bumps, and concussions….
