I received an order this morning for well under $100 USD through Ground Advantage
and the buyer purchased additional insurance. Initially I caught it because the
column shows up with a "red" highlight. Given that Ground advantage already
comes with $100 insurance baked in, does this offer the buyer (or myself) any
value?
I want to reach out to the customer to confirm the intent, but if we agree it's
not necessary how do I give them a partial refund for only the additional insurance
amount?
Any help is greatly appreciated, if there is anything else I am not considering
it would be helpful to understand the entire process. I am still a relatively
new seller and this is the first time someone has purchased extra insurance.
Thanks in advance!

There are still a lot of people who actually believe they need to insure every
package. The USPS loves them for it. If I was buying an expensive set or
some other big ticket item, that is the one time I might, opt for insurance.
Like any and most insurance, its just extra money for the USPS. If they paid
for it then let them have it.
