Is it possible to target notification messages to a specific group, such as members
in a certain country? At the moment I only sell to buyers in the UK, so notifications
to elsewhere in the world will be waste of time.

No, sorry.
Simply don't worry about it.
I don’t believe I’ve received any notification from a seller who doesn’t ships
to me.
That would mean the messages are already “targeted.”
But I don’t receive many notifications either, so I can’t be affirmative.

I read too fast.
You're right, that's very probably the case.
It'd be a waste of resources (and probably an unsollicitated e-mail) if you'd
receive an offer from someone who can't ship to you.
But that'd be interesting someone confirms this.

I’ve activated a few notifications on common parts… I should be flooded soon
and could check if at least one of the sellers doesn’t ship to me.
(But that’ll just be absence of counterproof….)

You could try on "International Version" items like Ninjago Cards, or
Stickers, or something specific I don't think of as of right now.
Chances are they're sold by US sellers who often won't ship to you?

Indeed, the ideal item would be:
— not available or rare in EU (so I’m not drowned in notifications),
— recent and available enough that someone will put it for sale, and notify!,
quickly.
It would be simpler if a seller who don’t ship to me participated (= told me
what to put in my WL before adding it in their shop)

BTW, I checked my options to see if I (as a buyer) limited the sellers’ locations
and saw that remark at the bottom: (see pic)
I’m not sure to understand what it means exactly: are the “do not ship” shops
always excluded or do I need to tick the global “payment by” box (as the note
is under that header)?

Update after 2 weeks:
— Absolutely zero notifications by a store that doesn’t ship to me.
— Not that many notifications (a few per day).
The logical conclusion is that the sellers who don’t ship to me are lazy bums
and they don’t upload new lots in their stores!

Interesting!

Or it's that your e-mail box is just like you; it's full of spam?

That would be a very smart spam filter, only removing messages from sellers who
don’t ship to me
(Also, all the messages are coming through blservice.)
And, anyway, the only canned meat here is duck.
À ce propos, que se passe-t-il quand Daffy Duck et Donald Duck se battent ?
Un conflit de canard !

Still, my first reply stands in that you can't "target notification messages
