Having this at the beginning. "Plastic Part for Sets 8781 and 8801" and
does it even need to be stated in the name what set(s) it is from? The "Appears
in" covers that.

I see your point! But, not everyone is savvy with our BrickLink ways. And they
come up nicely now when you search for your set. I don't mind the extra data.
