Great experience so far, I came across a special situation.
I only do MANUAL invoices, I have had issues with Ebay shipping before, so I
make sure
am in control and just send a quote usually within the hour of an order coming
in.
Am in MONTREAL QUEBEC, a customer from the USA wants a figurine worth 60$, I
contact the buyer, I let him know I will add a free figurine of the same line
as a gift and shipping cost will be 10$ CDN (so about 6$ USD).
I ship in a bubble envellope like many other BL stores, the Post lady explains
to me that when sending to the USA everything is considered a parcel and gives
me a 1$ rebate (she's nice) bringing my cost to 9$.
The BUYER CANCELS on me, claiming: SHIPPING FEES are too HIGH...
I then PM him back, offering a 5$ discount, basically bringing his shipping cost
to about 3$ USD, but he ignored me after that. So 48 hours later I accepted his
ORDER cancellation. That buyer had 3 reviews/comments on his profile, all positive.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to ship to the USA from MONTREAL,
using a bubble envellope, that's less expensive? I hate shipping so much
lol I don't want to automate my check out, I want to give the best service
and shipping price possible...

I hope you didn't cancel?
$6 is a ridiculous price including you're adding a free extra fig ( the fool
)!
I'm not even sure this person can have a minifig shipped from his own Country
for less than $6 (incl. tracking and eventual insurance).
In short, I'd open an NPB against the buyer.
OR, I'd CANCEL the cancellation request, and would start and validate a cancellation
request stating the truth "Buyer doesn't want to buy anymore".
Appreciate your input, I just cancelled the order, didn't wanna make a fuss.
I figured if I send bad vibes I'll be collecting some
I try to be nice and give extra, trying to build a good rating and such.
I know the figurine (Lando 20th anniv.) will sell again soon, no big loss, but
you did confirm am not crazy, 9$ CDN seemed cheap to me too, but am not that
experienced so I taught maybe I was missing something.
Again, thanks for the input, much appreciate you.

The Deus Emporium (TDE)
Thru Canada post that is a pretty normal price, the buyer may be more used to
buying from ships that ship thru companies such as stallion express or chit chats
who bring it over the border and ship direct with usps which is cheaper but only
by maybe $4-$5
