Well given my message opens with the word SCAM I very much doubt anyone will
be following any links without prior caution and secondly why would anyone proceed
with taking action in relation to a process that relates to someone else’s account
that is supposedly being suspended?
Given this scam message will have been sent out to multiple users I feel my post
is likely to do far more good than it could possibly do harm?
Right now my priority is to get the account closed as quickly as possible and
warn others, after that Admins or whoever can delete and do whatever they want
with my post
At the end of the day when I reported the user it didn’t give me the option to
include reasoning yet had it of done so I wouldn’t have felt it necessary to
even post in the forum or at least not with the message in its entirety
If you could advise me of a better/faster approach I’m all ears but at the moment
the user is still active and I’m not sure how BL can easily come to the conclusion
a user needs removing just from my say so alone when there isn’t the option to
include reasoning?

This scam has been signaled 50 times during the last 2 days.
Have a quick read the titles on 1 or 2 pages before posting?
Only 1% of BrickLink members read forum maybe; posting doesn't help (if you're
not the first).
Simply report and don't post ideas (on what to send or not to send) to the
next ones

Unlike yourself I don't LIVE in the forum, I also don't have TIME to
read every message here while I waste precious time pondering over whether it
necessary to warn others?
If it saves just 1 person not clicking on a link that they might otherwise click
on then that in my mind is good enough reason to post!
I actually had someone read my post here a few moments ago and whomessaged me
directly where they state they received a similar message the other day but tried
to clarify directly with Bricklink. However due to wanting a quick response over
fears of account suspension they then took their concern to the forum where it
appears their message was blocked/deleted and that user subsequently went on
to lose $444 therefore forgive me if I don't feel the need to follow the
advice of someone who continually appears to prefer the sound of their own voice
over actually being helpful towards anyone!?

I don't know, when I open the Forum page (in fact it's permanently open,
I just refresh it), I can see the titles of 25 posts - I don't "read"
the posts, just have a glance on the titles.
If I see "SCAM" or such and was to post about it, I first read the post
or the discussion.
I could also search in Forum (top right), to preferably add to a conversation,
or if I've a problem to see if a solution has been found) - better than start
a new one.
But it's just me, sorry.

We just disagree then.
As far as I’m concerned what happened yesterday, happened yesterday, What happened
today is relevant to today and given I provided a new user name along with the
fact that none of those past reported users have yet been removed I think a fresh
post is very much warranted and worthwhile to emphasize the warning to others!
Besides it was the scam message itself that brought me to the forum. I don’t
sit there refreshing the forum every few seconds waiting for somebodies post
to pounce on like you do?
Too eager to want to correct and lord it up other people it seems?
Only the other day people were posting here in this forum over the lack of activity
from users who have something worthwhile to say and so is it any wonder they
can no longer be bothered to post here...

I'm lazy: I prefer to read or search and find myself than to type a full
post to ask someone.
So, when I'm to post something, I first check the 25 first posts title.
Too eager to want to correct and lord it up other people it seems?
I make mistakes, I confirmed it.

Saying is always worthwhile.
If you don't wish different opinions, then it's fine to not post, but
that what makes an empty forum, IMHO.

I wasn’t asking someone anything, I was simply warning people of something?

In which case why the need to always question what other people do and why they
do it?
Too eager to want to correct and lord it up other people it seems?

I know and I’m just reminding you that it might be better to just concern yourself
over what you yourself are posting rather than always questioning what others
are posting because unless you have something worthwhile to say, maybe just don’t
bother saying it. There are no awards handed out for the highest number of pointless
posts or attempts at trying to trip other people up in the forum!

You’d like that wouldn’t you however I have no issue with continuing to call
your opinions out for how ridiculously pointless they are and so when involving
yourself in my own posts you could always skip on by instead? Or if you really
must involve yourself, on the same token you ought to be able to accept the kind
of response you get from me too, right?
but that what makes an empty forum, IMHO.
What makes an empty forum is people not wanting to be ass**d with constantly
having to explain themselves to people like you when the argument those people
are making is irrelevant or unnecessary
Again, we may disagree, simply don't mention it?
Your right not involving yourself in my post may have been better I feel since
it was aimed towards warning others and getting Bricklink to close the relevant
account down. I'm not sure your comments have helped contribute towards achieving
either of those things?

As intelligent and earnest as you seem, maybe you can understand who here are
worthy of an introspective response. In others words, don't take everyone
hereabouts, too seriously
