I have had the same issue as others have had with payments for orders not going
thru. I have had 3 customers in the last few weeks pay for their order during
auto checkout and the order shows as being paid but then the payment is canceled
by PayPal. I know by reading posts here in the forums that this is an on going
problem so I was wondering....

Is there a way to make the payment button either show up on their order page
or have it show up if I send a copy of the invoice connected with the order so
that they can pay a second time? If I change the order status to "Pending"
will that help in any way to allow a payment button to show up for them to pay?

So far the only work around I have come with is to either cancel the order and
have the customer place it a second time or in a case where one order had
over 80 lots for a total of $107.63 so for a work around I had the customer buy
a set from us that we put up at the exact same price then after he paid we sent
out his order in place of the set. He was a returning customer so there was a
mutual trust between us but I sure would like to provide an easier way for a
customer to pay a second time if we have any more issues with PayPal canceling
a payment and also allows BrickLink to collect the necessary taxes.

Any suggestions?

Did you check in PayPal the payment did NOT went through - like cancelled?

Then did you try to Edit the order using the edit order page, and change the
Payment Status to "Not paid"?

After this you can resend the invoice using the white thingy on the left, and
wait for another payment (or later on cancel the order if buyer gave up)...

Thank you for the link. I have change the status on the "orders Received"
page but never thought of changing both the "order status" and the "payment
status" on the link you provided.

Thank you for the link. I have change the status on the "orders Received"
page but never thought of changing both the "order status" and the "payment
status" on the link you provided.

Alternatively you can simply click on this icon, the one corresponding to the
order you wish to edit.

Yep, the famous exclamation mark.
  
Did you check in PayPal the payment did NOT went through - like cancelled?

Yes also. The funny thing is it shows the exact time it was paid and exactly
24 hours later it is changed to "Expired" and canceled.
