just to be sure about that:
as a private seller i decided to not complete the needed information to convert
to a verified seller and accepted, that my store will be closed by Bricklink.
What i did not expect is, that my store inventory vanished.
Question:
is there any chance to get a download of my former sellers inventory?
There was so much communication about this thing but not, that my store inventory
will be deleted.

Hello again,
sorry for disturbing You, its just the menu entry that is missing. I am still
able to get grip on my inventory via the "Store settings".

Your store is not suspended or anything, so you should still have access to the
inventory. What do you mean by the menu entry is missing? Do you mean the "store"
tab when you look at your store? As that becomes unclickable if you close your
store, as there is nothing to see as the store is closed. That happens whether
you agree or not to the DAC rules.

You do know that the DAC7 is coming from the European government right?
You also realize that its for every platform you sell on, not just bricklink?

Yep - "Private with no responsability Seller" is fine for garage sales
where the buyer can touch and feel the merchandise and hopefully feel if the
seller's a crook or not - but not on distance.

exactly.
If you are buying something with the intent of selling it with a profit, you
are not a "private seller", you are a business.
That might be oversimplified and there is definitely some legal mumbo jumbo that
I might be aware of. But the DAC7 is the governments way of closing down those
loopholes.

Thank You for Your replies.
I am totally fine with closing the loopholes and i know that this no bricklink
"feature". Its the same with ebay and any other trading platform. Well,
20 Years ago all was a bit easier here on Bricklink and most of the stuff i sold
in the last 5 years was the stuff i collected and bought the first 15 years.
I do appreciate these new rules for they strengthen the rights of the real (business)
sellers, who invest a lot more time and money to run it.
So my main question was simply, if my store inventory is still alive when i would
try to improve my profile and convert it to a professional store without loadung
up all the stuff again.

Jup, everything was easier 20 years ago
As far as I know bricklink has no such thing as a "professional" account.
I would suggest upgrading your personal paypal account to a business account
if you have not done that. the fees stay the same (I believe) but you cant receive
F&F payments.
