I’ve found that my current minifigure storage is not the best and is starting
to overflow with figs. I’d prefer to keep them out of akro mil drawers. I have
seen seller assemble them on base plates but was not sure about if they’d crack.
What are your thoughts?

i put them inside of plastic shoe boxes and it works fine (tho to many can make
it difficult to find)

All my minifigs are in their own zip lock bags each bag has been labelled with
their number, I have then sorted all the minifigs into larger zip lock bags based
on their type I.E Super heros, City etc
I used to have to spend ages looking for a particular figure and then checking
the heads etc as you get different heads on the same torso/hat/legs with my current
method it's so much quicker, I can find one within a couple of minutes.

I use old baseball card cardboard boxes. If you sort your figures into individual
bags and label them, you can use something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000K41E7E/?coliid=I36CKN06G0AZLU&colid=27HYEMPSMGAZ0&psc=0&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it

It's much easier to store with a top down lid and I use index cards to have
a "letter" separator to make it even easier to find the minifig in the
box.

This is the way! But I make mine for free using box lids and cardboard trays
I get from SamsClub or Costco.
