and I was able to locate multiple versions of the head and was hoping to better
understand everything that is out there if everyone here could perhaps post images
of there heads from part
so we can try to figure out all the variations.
currently ive found
3 "different" (tho probably not all will result in separate entries but
admins will confirm when its all said and done)
1 - (top image) yellow print under red with eye lines
2 - (middle image) white print under red with eye lines
3 - (bottom image) yellow print under red with no eye lines
im still looking on my end for more copies of this head and am hoping we can
figure out all the different heads. for reference we are working with at least
3 different pcc's and currently I haven't found any hollow stud versions
of this head which accordingly to the other thread are different as well
Thankyou to anyone who posts images! if possible if you post images of your versions
of
but I just want to first see if we are able to find any additional variants as
these heads have been quite tricky and its entirely possible I may have missed
something
Here’s the two I could find for now. The left is a hollow stud, the right a blocked
open stud.
Bricklink can certainly use the photo if it’s worthy, or I can try to take a
sharper one tomorrow if it’s useful.

ok, so looking at all the data I'm seeing 4 unique versions of the head (5
if you separate the yellow and white backgrounds).
which have print versions separate from
the ones in the image, please let me know, otherwise I will start to work on
new entries within the new few days

Version 4 is just Version 1 with a very heavy red print job. You can tell because
all of the main features are rounded off, some areas are starting to fill in
with paint, and some areas have completely filled with paint. My guess is that
one was made with a very worn printing pad.

interesting, tho version 4 seems to also have no white under the eyes, both versions
(of version 1) which have the yellow and white underprint respectively, also
have white under the eyes, however it dosent seem to be present on version 4

interesting, that could be the case. but then that would bring up the question
on if it was intentional (as we are missing the pcc's of some of the earlier
sets for this head) or a mistake. what are your thoughts, should it be its own
entry or should i keep it with version one.

I would stick with the main three for now. That should be enough to get the vast
majority of the issue solved. If we need to add a fourth version eventually,
then we will, but it just looks too poorly printed to be a standard version.

Sounds good! I’ll work on them “soon”
Normal soon or bricklink soon?
I’ve first gotta go to the bank, then eat breakfast, then do some other stuff
and then I’ll hopefully work on it so “soon”

entry or should i keep it with version one.
It doesn't really matter because the whole project is on "catalog soon"
time, which may be anywhere from tomorrow until never.
and I was able to locate multiple versions of the head and was hoping to better
understand everything that is out there if everyone here could perhaps post images
of there heads from part
so we can try to figure out all the variations.
currently ive found
3 "different" (tho probably not all will result in separate entries but
admins will confirm when its all said and done)
1 - (top image) yellow print under red with eye lines
2 - (middle image) white print under red with eye lines
3 - (bottom image) yellow print under red with no eye lines
im still looking on my end for more copies of this head and am hoping we can
figure out all the different heads. for reference we are working with at least
3 different pcc's and currently I haven't found any hollow stud versions
of this head which accordingly to the other thread are different as well
Thankyou to anyone who posts images! if possible if you post images of your versions
of
but I just want to first see if we are able to find any additional variants as
these heads have been quite tricky and its entirely possible I may have missed
something
ok, so looking at all the data I'm seeing 4 unique versions of the head (5
if you separate the yellow and white backgrounds).
which have print versions separate from
the ones in the image, please let me know, otherwise I will start to work on
new entries within the new few days
Version 4 is just Version 1 with a very heavy red print job. You can tell because
all of the main features are rounded off, some areas are starting to fill in
with paint, and some areas have completely filled with paint. My guess is that
one was made with a very worn printing pad.
interesting, tho version 4 seems to also have no white under the eyes, both versions
(of version 1) which have the yellow and white underprint respectively, also
have white under the eyes, however it dosent seem to be present on version 4
and version 4 also has no black outline print. its hard to get the angle right
but the entire pattern of version 1 has a black outline but there is none at
all on version 4
Maybe Version 4 didn't get printed with the final black print that would
have added the finer details over the red paint?
interesting, that could be the case. but then that would bring up the question
on if it was intentional (as we are missing the pcc's of some of the earlier
sets for this head) or a mistake. what are your thoughts, should it be its own
entry or should i keep it with version one.

Thankyou for the offer! if you would like to work on some in your very nice quality
images for those 3 variants that would be a big help. I’ll pm you once I have
the listing made for which goes to which for the 3 versions (probably a couple
hours away as I just woke up )
Thankyou!

specifics.

We are going with the 3 variants that randyf outlined here
if you email me the images it might be easier as I can include a note to credit

First, I don't have my main photo set-up handy so I had to edit these quite
a lot.
Second, these parts are all old and dusty.
Third: the print on my 3626pb3819x is actually what's blurry and not my focus.
Fourth: my 3626pb3817x has a bad scar right across the eye so I digitally copied
the other one over.
But, this should be enough for approval, I hope. Let me know if you think anything
needs corrected or any colors tweaked. Also, if the admin want less edited photos,
I can dig out more Mauls and better equipment.
I can make the final comparison image after we are sure of the item numbers and
descriptions.

I re-watched Episode 1 while working on these in honor of our villain here. I
am a huge Star Wars fan but that movie does not improve with age.

Have you watched all the seasons of Ninjago?
up to the season with the clouds thing
Season 10? March of the Oni?
After the OG series things aren't as good, the story gets weak and more childish
so you are not missing much. The first 10 seasons are great though

like to wait until a series is finished before watching so I'll probably
watch the rest when sometime down the road its all finished

Well...
The 11min era is over so that's another chunk that you could watch. But most
of those seasons are disconnected and have very little crossover so it doesn't
really matter.
The era currently in progress is Dragons Rising currently starting season 3 in
a few months, that series is supposedly going to have 5 seasons and 100ep.
And another side show is coming sometime in June so there in alot of new content.
I wouldn't worry too much about trying to see it all though

nah, I'm patient, back when i was with streaming services i watched a few
shows that i loved, they were released like 5+ years ago but still haven't
had a physical release so i haven't rewatched them but I'm still waiting
(they are slowly getting releases but it will be quite a while till all of them
have one)
if you email me the images it might be easier as I can include a note to credit
you so you’ll still get credit and then I can create a comparison image and the
like
the entries have been made (awaiting images from Jennifer (no rush and i very
much appreciate you offering to help with them ))
First, I don't have my main photo set-up handy so I had to edit these quite
Thanks,
~Jen
Thankyou so very much! the images look amazing!!! That was quite the wild ride
for those images! Amazing work and thankyou once more!
I re-watched Episode 1 while working on these in honor of our villain here. I
am a huge Star Wars fan but that movie does not improve with age.

sounds like quite the fun! I should watch all the star wars movies one of

Have you watched all the seasons of Ninjago?
up to the season with the clouds thing
Season 10? March of the Oni?
possibly not sure
After the OG series things aren't as good, the story gets weak and more childish
so you are not missing much. The first 10 seasons are great though
I've never been one who really worrries/notices series get bad but i usually
like to wait until a series is finished before watching so I'll probably
watch the rest when sometime down the road its all finished
I'm a completionist like that i like to have physical blurays of the entire
show before I watch it
I'm much the same way but they don't even the complete OG series on DVD
yet
They have released DVDs up to season 13 (or maybe even more). (English audio
is available even tho its a (polish?) release)
They only released english versions in north america up till season 8.
I think they have them in other languages tho.

Waiting for DVD releases is so painful as it could be years till companys realize
they can make more money by rereleasing media on DVD, sadly I don't think
Ninjago will ever get blu-ray (at least not for a good long while) as physical
media is slowly dying
Which is a shame as I prefer to actually own what I pay for, where as if say
netflix goes broke or looses the rights to something it will just disappear.

to preserving media such as tv shows on blurays. in like 30 years or so they
may pick up licenses for shows like ninjago

But I hope they get them released soon, the OG series was so good
At this point in the franchise I really don't care about what happens next,
I'm just looking forward to the movie coming out next year and hoping it
gets the series back on track
I may have to look into it then, trade laws might stand in the way however, but

usually, there is no issue getting dvds/blurays from other countries (unless
the company is actively blocking it). you usually just need a region free player
(such as an xbox)

You mean they encode the discs so US DVD players can't play it? I didn't
know that but if that's the case can't you just buy a EU made player
and it still work?
I don't have a xbox, but maybe years in the future I'll find one at thrift
store or something. Which version do you recommend?

yes, pretty much every officially produced dvd/bluray is region locked. usually
either Region 1 or 2 (I think for dvds) and region a and b (I think for blurays).
however this is less prevalent these days but still something thats done. region
free disc players are relatively common so you dont have to import an eu player
for those discs

ive always been a fan of modern so id recommend the series x as it has full support
for cds, dvds, and blurays of any region.

I thought x|s didn't have a dics port and it was all digital, but then what
do I know, I'm not a gamer
Does it have support for the older xbox one games?
Also most important of all does LEGO dimensions work on it?

if you email me the images it might be easier as I can include a note to credit
you so you’ll still get credit and then I can create a comparison image and the
like
the entries have been made (awaiting images from Jennifer (no rush and i very
much appreciate you offering to help with them ))
First, I don't have my main photo set-up handy so I had to edit these quite
Thanks,

Thankyou so very much! the images look amazing!!! That was quite the wild ride

I re-watched Episode 1 while working on these in honor of our villain here. I

much appreciate you offering to help with them ))
First, I don't have my main photo set-up handy so I had to edit these quite
Thanks,
~Jen
Thankyou so very much! the images look amazing!!! That was quite the wild ride
for those images! Amazing work and thankyou once more!
I re-watched Episode 1 while working on these in honor of our villain here. I
am a huge Star Wars fan but that movie does not improve with age.
~Jen
sounds like quite the fun! I should watch all the star wars movies one of
these days
(ps, I think you may have uploaded the image of version 2 on the version 1 item,
the image of version 1 on the version 3 item, and the image for version 3 on
the version 2 item)
Ah! I told you I needed a map... lol Now, which is which?
~Jen
I'm not sure if this makes it more confusing
Thanks for the visuals. I got it this time!
~Jen
Thankyou so very much! it looks to all be in order now Amazing work!
if you email me the images it might be easier as I can include a note to credit
you so you’ll still get credit and then I can create a comparison image and the

Explains why your going to all this trouble
Me, couldn't care less, but your dedication to this is impressive.
Good work
