I'm probably slow to notice but good to see the head merger has now been
carried out and I believe it looks to be completed as far as I can tell

Thought it was worth mentioning to others as they may now find they have some
duplications in their inventory where they previously used to separate the stud
types as per catalog. Not a big issue but will probably just be a case of choosing
whether to merge the lots together or keep the duplicate lots whilst adding your
own descriptions so you can continue to sell the stud variants separately

Either way I see it as a massive improvement navigation wise

Seems so: looking for 3626* (sorted by ID) doesn’t show any 3626b or c.

(Parts are still found if you look for 3626b* as they are alternate IDs.)

Worthy mention. Thanks

Made the adjustments back when initially announced by Admin. That is duplicate
lots with Hollow Stud or Blocked Open within the outward facing
comments. I'd also generally agree with the take "not a big issue"
with the caveat of it still being salient for the more discerning buyers and
collectors and by extension, their suppliers here.

Came to the the same sentiment, in part due to your thought-provoking inputs
on the topic

The only downside I see is whether those that are less knowledgeable will question
the validity of the Blocked Open Stud more frequently?

With that in mind it might have been useful for Bricklink to have kept a note
in place maybe along with an additional top down photo of the studs just for
reference purposes as would have only needed the same duplicate image to cover
them them all pretty much
