If you gently push your nail against the part, does it start to rub off? I’m
not an expert but to me it looks like a flaw in the plastic, something that occurred
in production. It’s more translucent than “gold”. I’ve seen it mostly in the
bar grilles:

Parts: Bar {Dark Bluish Gray}

But at any rate I don’t think it’s meant to look like that. Those red tails aren’t
very valuable, I would describe it as a flaw when listing or just not bother
selling it.

Can not rub it of. It is the gold wat is used for metallic gold pieces I think.
