Hi Bricklink admins,

there is a user "stanislav1999" https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/public_gallery.page?idUser=3514726
which is spamming the Publis Gallery with rebuild LEGO sets for a while. Which
is already annoying, cause what sense makes it to publish those sets to the public
gallery.
But now "stanislav1999" has started to download free MOCs from Rebrickable
and republishes those creations of other designers here on Bricklink under his
account.
As far as I can see, he does not even mention or credit the designers, seems
he even copies their MOC descriptions from Rebrickable.
I have put a comment with a link to the corresponding MOC on Rebrickable under
each of his illegal republishes I found so far.

Very strange that nobody on Bricklink gets aware of such illegal behavior.

Kind regards Linse

Maybe because they don't know if nobody report the member?
Did you?

All the designs are supposed to be vetted.

But even a few official sets (which can’t be EasyBuy-able or downloadable) have
managed to be accepted to full access.

I fear that, for IP infringement, it needs to be the IP owner that makes the
claim or it’s simply disregarded (Designer ToS and section 25 of the general
ToS).

Sadly your design check system does not work for years and you still could not
manage to install a simple "Report MOC" button on each MOC site.
Instead the report function is hidden somewhere deep in the website where it
is hard to find. If you find it or the admin posts the link, there is not even
the selection, that a member is doing illegal repost and violates IPs.
Sorry that is why I stopped publishing my MOCs on BL, if this is the way the
IPs of real designers are "protected" on BL.

If "stanislav1999" posts one of my free available designs from Rebrickable,
I will inform my lawyer to get in contact with you.

Regards Linse

That sounds expensive but go for it, it should be interesting to watch.
