I've had a queery on a packet not received (the tracking only updates when
qr scanned upon delivery). I always send out Drive Thru messages when an order
is shipped. Now I want to check when order was sent via sent Drive Thru messages
on site but can't find a way.
If I click the Drive Thru Icon on Orders page it doesn't show me what was
sent but just gives me a new template.
I don't have 'email a copy to yourself' box checked, I was hoping
that was not the only answer.

Check the date the order status changed on the order, it should be the date you
changed it to shipped (unless it has since been updated) or looks at the software
you used to create the label as even if tracking isn’t updated it should still
show when you made the label
I wanted to understand if Bricklink holds a copy of the Drive Thru message sent
as it seems to keep copies of all other messaging and seemed odd it wouldn't
keep that.
The reason I wanted to see it as it holds the tracking number aas well as the
date sent so everything i need is at hand quickly. It's a quick and efficient
way to see the info I need that was all (rather than going back and sourcing
the label for the tracking number).

I do not believe they do as it’s sent via email and not via bricklink messages

Don’t you upload the tracking details to the order itself?
I used to add in to order summary page but haven't copied n pasted it in
for a while - believing that info exists on the site in the Drive Thru message
i sent. Seems odd it doesn't keep a copy or you don't have an option
to save it within Bricklink.
I'd like a history of what's been sent so maybe worth disregarding the
Drive Thru and instead putting that info in a message that appears on the actual
order.

Thank you for your messaging on this.
Glad to help and I would recommend always uploading tracking to the order as
many customers ignore drive thru emails and always look for tracking on the order
page itself

The point is to add the tracking information to the order data and then the Drive-Thru
message uses that field in the message.
Sounds to me like you are trying to do the opposite.

by default Bricklink does not send a copy of the Drive Thru to your e-mail.
if you go to Account Settings - My Order Settings there should be an optoin
to change the default to always send yourself a copy
