I somehow found this pretty mysterious item within some random store. I searched
the id on the box online and the only things that i could find were some weird
websites and similar showing the item, I could find almost nothing, not even
a BrickLink or Brickset entry of anything similar. Do any of you have any idea
about the origins of this item, if it even is authentico Lego or not, and more?

Hi,
This is a real LEGO watch
There are a lot in the catalog but all are not there as you could see.
Check for "Ninjago watch", you will find some.

The one in your hands could be added to the catalog.

Hello. I understand, but I don’t know if there is any official images of this
out there to add to catalogue. So, i will keep it for now then, and i now know
that it is a real item. If anyone has any good images of it it could be added
to catalague by one of you. Thanks.

BrickLink doesn't need an "official" image - just an image, which
could be submitted by you.

It doesn’t need to be a official image, you could take one and use it, in fact
over half the images in the catalog aren’t official

Normally you need the rights to an image if you want to publish it.

Interesting statistic. Where'd ya get it?
~Jen
I’m talking minifigs, parts, stickered parts, books, and trading cards
Sets are mostly official images tho.
If you look at the main page it says there are over 17,000 minifigs, I’m fairly
confident that most of them don’t use official images, same with the over 5,000
trading cards + all the part images

Most? Sure, however, there were several years there when many of the minifig
images were from LEGO. There are more than you think.
True I did note a lot of LEGO renders used last year.
Actually, we are trying NOT to use the new ones since they are CGI. I replace
every one that I see.
I noticed that, but I didn't know they don't want them in the catalog,
the more you know.
all the part images
Not true. All the renders we borrow are official images more or less. There are
lots of animal images scraped from LEGO marketing images as well.
~Jen
Did not know that.
I did a quick search for ‘(sticker)’ and there are over 28,000 entries under
parts.
More if you search sticker*
I searched that too, but I just went with (sticker) as it %100 confirms that
it will be a stickered part
But some of these are the Scanner Code tiles that are LEGO-applied. lol
Do they have renders? I don't remember ever seeing any.
Now, you've got me started on catalog and image trends! and distracted me
from planning my Jan 1 shopping...
~Jen
Jan 1st, my least fav. time of year, I have no money and I'm sooo busy!
I hope the admins can get the last of my stuff approved before then otherwise
I could be waiting for another 2 months

Well, LEGO's CGI image is still better than no image at all. We just can't
use them as references for parts later on. 'Did this minifig have the Black
or Dark Brown eyebrows?' 'Dunno, it's not a photograph of an actual
part!' etc, etc...

Except for the 4,492 sticker sheets. But, not very many of those are official
images.
We could also argue whether screen grabs of the covers of digital Instructions
are 'official' LEGO images.
But some of these are the Scanner Code tiles that are LEGO-applied. lol

Yes, most all of them have renders. The stickers appear in the inventory lists
after all. Some catalog submitters were also kind enough to photograph them for
ease of identification. LEGO renders are really terrible.

Oh, that's sad. I'm sorry. Since my LEGO adventure began, Jan 1 is the
new Christmas.

You are not wrong there... I expect Jan 1 releases will take over the catalog
for many weeks.

Very True, pearl gold is one of the worst

I would call those "mod'ed"

new Christmas.
I mostly don't like it because all the sets I missed out on are retiring
and new ones are coming out I have to think about, so then I have to rework
my order in which I buy, it's just confusing and stressful as I only have
so much money alotted for TLG

I think it was about late Feb. last year before it was mostly done.
