If only BL, with all of it's frivolous updating, would include such an option

We got a new Nav. bar but we still can’t add sounds to the catalog.

Ah, and Cosmic Toys

I found one even earlier list, but what's amazing to me is the lack of German
sellers. They may have not felt at home until BB/BL became more multi-cultural.

So many old memories...

-- 24 USA sellers I remember
-- 17 International sellers I remember
-- 8 closed shop sellers I remember

-- More than 20 that I have met in real life and prolly that many more that
I knew online from other Lego sites like Lugnet and rec.toys.lego, and the old
BrickLink Chat.

I don't see Erector or Slim Pickens or Chickaroo.

It's sad to think about the ones who have left the community or even passed
away. Dan Jezek's original shop is on the list, for example.

But It is Extremely Amazing how many are still around, still actively selling.

If the links were formatted as Bricklink instead of Brickbay, these old links
would lead to so many active BL shops today.

So much of this is due to the strong loyalty so many of us feel for the LEGO
brand and the LEGO Brick. Loyalty that spans decades and entire lifetimes.

There are only two sellers I have ever met in person, one is now an ex-pat in
West Africa, and the other was a chance encounter at the Tallahassee TRU one
evening when I was running stores looking for clearance. That's all I can
recall.

The first of those, was a chance encounter, almost exactly 10 years ago. They
used to live about 15 miles from me, and I did not know that. We were both standing
line at the Old Town post office, each with a huge pile of packages to ship,
wondering who the other was. Good times, fun times, life moves on.
