I just posted about this too, before I saw this one. Mine is 8974. It's all
my unfiled/open orders, uninvoiced orders, and all lots to notify. Not remotely
useful.

How can I get rid of the feedback number on the new drop down navigation menu
very annoying?
Yep.
And mine says "2" but when I click I see something like 50 orders.
No comprendo, no use.

What? You don't notify your lots???
Who doesn't, sincerely why wouldn't you?
I do, when I list what I have. Why would I notify now, but then list more tomorrow?
Then repeat every day: list, notify, list, notify, on and on and on.

You're losing tons of sales!
And don't worry, if you're adding to a lot, it doesn't send any notification.
There's only 2 real ways to actively "push" your sales: with Sales
on Forum (brings to Main Page), and Notifications.
Oh I know. Considering how busy I am as it is, I don't want to bump up my
numbers by sending notifications essentially every single day. Pointless too,
if I am sending notifications for 1 or 2 lots, every single day. I know it's
not the way most stores operate, but it works 100% for what I need.
Right now, I just want to get rid of that useless number up there. Even if I
notify right now, it's still "notifying" me that I have however many
orders that I haven't filed, plus any I haven't invoiced yet (which of
course some count twice in that number). At least before, it simply showed how
many unfiled you had, no doubling with uninvoiced.
