Greetings,

This is a selling & shipping question...

I am a brand new BL seller. Opened my store yesterday and within minutes, I received
my first sale. Seems I should be excited!? I started to process the order and
the shipping address was odd. A little searching and I believe it is a re-shipper
warehouse in DE. The name, email, etc appear generic too and the payment was
via PayPal.

I'm very familiar with eBay re-shipping, because eBay does their own, but
I'm hesitant for BL. I assume, like with eBay, that if the item is delivered
to DE, my obligation is complete, at least with PayPal. But a month from now,
when it is finally received, or NOT, what would be the possible resolve for any
negative feedback on BL?

Am I obligated to sell or can I simply cancel/refund the order? I only sale to
USA. The buyer has created an account stating they reside in DE and the buyer's
email domain is a company based in China. So really, they have already violated
BL usage terms by creating an account to circumvent shipping rules. Or is this
more common than I am aware?

Thanks in advance!

Transactions like this have never been a problem for me. I just handle them
the same as any other order.

I suggest you use google maps to make sure the Delaware address is a valid residence
or business. Even a regular google search to see if there is an established
business using that address.

Be sure to note the BL Order Number somewhere so the final recipient knows for
sure which BL order it is. In fact, marking ALL orders with the BL order number
is a good idea.

Good Luck. Sell Lots of Lego and Make Lots of Money (so you can buy moar Lego).

Welcome to bricklink!

Shipping forwarding addresses are very common so I wouldnt worry. I’ve had many
orders I’ve placed sent to them and I’ve shipped many orders to them all without
issue

They haven't violated BL terms.

Reshipping isn't very common but it's not uncommon either. I've personally
never had a problem with a reshipped order.

Is the PayPal payment marked 'ELIGIBLE' ?

Do the addresses on both BL and PP match ?

If the answer to both is yes, you might be OK. If the buyer is in another country,
then cross-border dispute rules apply. You do have the ability to restrict your
PayPal account from allowing cross-border payments.

Good Luck !
