I hope this post finds everyone well and that you are enjoying the weather in
your area. Here in North Florida (Big Bend-Tallahassee) we are having some really
nice, long awaited cool weather.

I'm wondering if anyone can clarify something for me when it comes to searching
ones inventory, specifically using the remarks section. I like many others,
use the StackOn's drawer bins and have each drawer labeled as "0001,
0002, 0471, 0599" etc.

When I go into my store inventory, I can use the search function, which is on
the right of the page, to click Remarks then type in the Keyword (in this instance
the drawer location: 0471) and it will pull up all items in that drawer (images
below).

The second image shows the results of the search in "My Store Inv." but
it won't allow you to key in another location to search. It just pulls up
a search with no results. Is there an easier way to search using remarks, without
having to go back into the main inventory page and start all over? I guess I'm
looking for a way to search a drawer, but then search additional drawers without
having to leave one page. Hopefully this makes sense.

Brian

I don't think there is, as it does a catalogue search for the next search
rather than a remarks search.

Yeah, which is odd, because it shows the remarks in the search box at the top.
Oh well.

Thanks for the input

Hiya Brian.
What doesn't make sense is a seller still not using BrickStore.
Free, open-source, perfect for this and tons of other things that sellers need

Hey there!

You are so right . I use BrickStore most of the time. I do the search for
the remarks (location) then make changes and then do a mass update. I've
never understood why the "code" can reference a location but not allow
you to search with it unless you are on the inventory page. It's only good
for official part/set numbers.

BL needs to give some serious updates to the Sellers Functions, similar to what
BS has to offer. Until they do, I'll continue to use B/S.

Thanks for your help.

For this I have a custom html file in my bookmarks updated from the original
that was available long ago in Goatleg, I usually have it pinned as a tab on
the browser for easy access.
