Maybe I’m misinterpreting, but do you mean that you found a 4L bar with no LEGO
markings in an unopened bag and are thinking it’s not genuine (ie, “reproduced”)?
If that’s the case, those bars were produced without markings before microprinting
and so depending on the age of your unopened bag, it might be perfectly normal.
If that’s not the case, can you clarify the dilemma a bit better? So many LEGO
parts have been reproduced by so many competitors, I hardly think it’s worth
having a database for that.

I ask is because I did find one in a unopened Lego bag.
Also is there a site that will have reproduction, unofficial, copied bricks?

Sorry Carissamiss for not clarifying my message properly, and I do realize most
all Lego is being reproduced. So yes that is what happened, I found a unmarked
bar in a in a sealed Lego parts bag, probably 10 years back. I did not know about
the microprinting, is there a year attached to when microprinting started?

I’m not entirely sure, maybe someone with more knowledge on that will chime in
- but my best guess is the microprinting started around 2010 or so. Likely
the older parts were phased out, used up instead of abruptly discontinued. I
can confirm that my green 4L bars have microprinting and they are only available
in 2 sets, from 2011 and 2013. However, I have yellow 4L bars from Indiana Jones
sets (2008) with no markings.
If I were in your shoes, I would list the bar with a note: “pre-2015 part, taken
from a sealed bag”. If the bag was sealed, it has to be genuine! 🙂 but a note
might deter a potential inquiry/complaint when it’s bought and received.
