I recently bought the set.
I can confirm that all assumptions regarding the 8 missing pieces are true.
There is 2 of the 1 and 2, the 3rd one is probably a mistake and is in fact the 8 which I do have in the set.
I think the design of the box I received is also different

The Inventory Comparison Tool shows PCCs 6231963 and 6232170 for the bridge parts
which are Light Bluish Gray. Seeing that the current inventory source is "Set
box/picture", I believe the color has been misidentified for this part. I
have therefore accepted your changes, removed the Dark Bluish Gray parts and
changed yours from alternates to regular.
I have also accepted the additions of the remaining figures. You asked to have
47394pb173 added, but I've added 47394pb173a instead because of your photos
(they all have oval eyes). I also added PCCs to the two figures that don't
have their PCCs in their name.
Is it possible for you to add the Medium Azure 2x2x2, the Yellow 2x4 and the
umbrella top printed bricks to the catalog so we can have those added to the
inventory as well? That would make the inventory complete.

This set clearly had more than one version as can be seen on the copyright date
of the box (see image), so this is a later version. The earlier version would
have had what was on the box, which is DBG bridge parts. You have to remember
that the ICT only shows what is included in the very last version of a set that
is released. It will not show you what was in the original version.

I hope one day ICT will show every version of sets. This would solve issues like
this one. I just didn't know that I could trust parts lists on boxes.
I couldn't find any photos or videos of sealed sets to confirm the existence
of sets with DBG parts. Just a couple of videos that look promotional.
