Good day Everyone

I am attempting to work with Studio to make my very first MOC
I am trying to get the the hang of the program but when it comes for me to add
something to it, questions come up?
Do i design on the fly OR open a new file window , create it there and then import
it?
Also I have an area that I would like to add my own idea BUT cannot figure it
out. Can someone please make suggestions how I might be able to create it?
Please see attached photo

Thanks so much in advance

Regards
David

Is this the corner of a building, or is there space behind where you can hide
the method that creates the alternating size stone effect?

In one of my builds, I have used tiles on plates to create the grooves between
stones. This is on the corner of a building. 2x2 corner tiles worked in my case.
These left 1 stud (on a 2x2 square) that could be used to connect the tile and
plate to the rest of the wall and connect to the next plate above it (see attached
photo.) The fact I used a corner tile was hidden within the wall.

In your case, iI can imagine that alternating 1 stud wide tiles (with 1 top stud)
and 2x2 corner tiles get the look you desire.

The main issue I see is that you will need a way to keep the tiles stable with
the rest of the build given the lack of a top stud on the tiles. If you can hide
the method inside the wall, then that will probably be easier.

Hope that helps.
