3 months after a sale, with no prior communication, I received NFB from a buyer
because he found no lego mark/brand on a chain, part# 30104. I'll try to
put venting aside, but are there any newer chains that do have the Lego label/mark/brand/logo/stamp
that are branded?

I don't mind protecting the brand. Some clones I've seen scare the hell
out of me and could ruin the market. Can I tell this buyer he made a mistake?

Hi,
This is really difficult to see, but I've seen a logo on the parts I have.
But I've used magnifying glass and macro on my phone. If you try with your
eyes only, it's impossible to see.

I used a jewelers loop and didn't find anything, but these came from sets
issued in the late 90's early 2000's. I'm guessing your pieces are
newer.

Thanks for checking - Mark

I just checked and my dark gray chain from the Traitor Transport set (1997) has
no markings of any kind. The newer chains that I have in dark bluish gray, pearl
gold etc. have the microprinting.
So I would think if it were an older chain, likely what your buyer received is
in fact genuine and they have made a mistake.

Thanks.

These items go back 20 years or more. Have some others in personal inventory
that are even older, nothing with micro branding.

Thanks again.
