Dear Catmins,

it's me again. I would really love to sell all the items which are currently
pending. If there are any issues I can help with, please tell me.
I have more items to come, so please help me adding them for sale.

We just need time. Can you create more of that for us?

What does take the admins soooo long to approve stickered parts? Isn’t it just
looking at the instructions and checking to make sure the item name is descriptive
enough?

Pardon my lack of knowledge.

They simply don’t have the time. Every year lego releases more and more lego
sets which need to be inventoried but the admin team is very small. They prioritize
new parts and the less “important” and item is they further down the list it
goes. Sticker parts are one of the lowest priorities

Hmm, for me (as one that buys lots of used LEGO) stickered parts are very important
for identifying sets that you have gotten in bulk unsorted lots.

“Just” time yourself doing it.  In the same conditions of course: you have only
the request with maybe good pictures and, if you’re lucky, page numbers.

You’ll see that “just” is actually longer than you thought

What if the submitter includes; good pictures, instruction book numbers, page
numbers, step numbers, and a link to online instructions?

Try it

What I’m saying is: until you’ve really timed it, you can’t really understand
how long something takes.
(And even then….)

And then, there’s the number of such things to do, and, as Nubs said, the other,
“more important” things on the todo list.

Famous last words:  “It’ll only take a minute.”  Or, for the maréchal de Grouchy:
“just one strawberry and then we head up to Waterloo.”

Did that

What I’m saying is: until you’ve really timed it, you can’t really understand

(And even then….)

I know how long it takes me to upload pictures thanks to crappy camera, and limited
editing options.

And then, there’s the number of such things to do, and, as Nubs said, the other,
“more important” things on the todo list.

Understandable.

I can fix that lack of knowledge.

You can look here:

https://www.bricklink.com/calendar.asp?v=C

or at the Newest Items log to see what's taking soooo long. There is simply
a huge amount of work to be done. Much of it needs careful consideration and
research.

Look through the Approval Pending Overview and see how many parts do you think
need corrections or to have their images edited? Or for submitters to actually
respond to questions asked?

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogPend.asp

Add to all of this that the admins have not had their tool set upgraded since
the site was still Green. You get the idea....

Unfortunately, no.
But everything else, if you tell me (better pictures/ descriotions/otherwise).
I totally understand that it takes so much time for espedially my rare China
stuff, but like the tiles with city print comparable to Barcelona, Berlin etc
I thought it is not so problematic.

Take care and thanks for your hard work!
